40th Anniversary concert at National Philharmony of Ukraine, Kyiv
Celebrating Vassily Savenko’s career in opera and concert singing which began in 1978 at Dnipropetrovsk State Academic Opera & Ballet Theatre.
The Gala Concert includes many of Savenko’s friends and colleagues: Revutsky Municipal Male Capella, (members of Boyan Ensemble); chief conductor Volodymyr Kurach (Orthodox and Ukrainian folk songs); Ensemble of Ukrainian Folk Instruments, conductor Yuriy Karnaukh, (Ukrainian folk songs); The Bandurists Capella of the National Academy of Music, artistic Director and Conductor, People Artist of Ukraine Andriy Kozachok (Arrangements of Ukrainian folk songs with soloist).
Other distinguished guest artists: Taras Shtonda bass; Valentyna Ivanenko soprano; Olena Rayevska soprano; Volodymyr Rayevsky tenor ; Pianists: Konstantin Fesenko, Anastasia Titovych, Volodymyr Knorozok
